Master lower than standard takeoff minimums utilizing operations specification (ops spec) C078 in preparation for interviews, recurrent training, or certification requirements. This course combines quizzes, example ops specs, and video tutorials. You will also use real-world scenarios including weather (METARs & TAFs), approach charts (Jeppesen), and NOTAMs incorporated into worksheets where you'll practice the skills for yourself. You should have a good knowledge of METARs, TAFs, and approach charts and reading NOTAMs before attempting this course. Recommended for aircraft dispatch students, aircraft dispatch program graduates, and those with at least commercial pilot certification. This course content of FAA-issued operations specifications applies to US-based operations only, but may also be of benefit to those outside the USA. A small amount of the course - at the end - focuses on C079 for part 135 operations. The bulk of the course focuses on C078 for part 121 operations.
